I remember those guys. Used to watch their show on television. I always thought this was one of their best, although my favorite was " JoAnne."
ReplyDeleteI've got several of their albums, and one time when we were out driving around I had one playing, and my wife was quite surprised at how good some of the songs were.
ReplyDeleteShe'd always assumed they were a throw-away "novelty" band, which they were until they got out from under Don Kirschner's thumb.
They were quite underrated, and most people thought they were just another "fake" band.
