"Survived" First Storm!

Mostly because it wasn't much of a storm.

We got roughly 3"~4" here in Bellvue, and it's melting. The dog absolutely LOVED it, running around and trying to catch the snowflakes.

Can't find my camera, or I would have taken some pix. And my cellphone will not cooperate with this laptop, so I can't get the pix off of it and on to here.

Big sheets of snow are sliding off the roof of the shop/apartment, and going "PLOP!" on the ground, causing the dog to run to the side door/window and look at them.

Tuesday we sign the final loan documents, and Wednesday is the official home inspection, which I'm going to tag along on....

  1. So glad nothing serious came of the storm!

If you don't find your camera before the next time, you can email your photos to yourself and get them on your computer that way. If your phone does email.

You all be safe and God bless!

    1. I think I know where it is; just haven't dragged it out yet.

  2. OK Jim, this something you have to do for me, seriously.
Get on the Google and look up 'A Southerner Moves North" and then read the story.
My Dad had it printed out and saved in his filing cabinet and showed it to me about fifteen years ago.
I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes.

    1. Most of it's melted up here in Bellvue, and I'm sure it's all gone in Fort Collins....

  4. 40 minutes late getting into Wheatland. North of Cheyenne to Chugwater was nasty.

  5. Even though Beilvue does not get much snow, Ariens makes pretty good snowblowers.
Mine is a little past 30 years old and still works. As long as I do the maintenance and replace the worn parts It should go for a few more.
    Hopefully.

    1. Yeah, I've been looking at those and Toros.

Honda has a monster with tractor treads on it, but it's probably overkill for the area we'll be in!

Keep it civil, please....

Gloomy, Gritty, Grey Day

At 1700 local it's as described in the headline; 30*F, 88% RH, completely overcast, snowing like crazy (small flakes, but lots of them)...
