My Dear Brother In Law Passed This Afternoon

His Doctors took him off the ventilator earlier today and he passed within the hour.

My poor little wife is devastated.

  4. May you and your wife feel the grace of our loving Father at this troubling time. We never know when we will be called home. Your wife's brother is now in an unbroken body, resting in the arms of the Lord. That doesn't make the pain any less for us here on earth, and only time can dry the tears. The sense of loss will always remain, I am afraid. I grieve for you, and will pray for you, as well.

  14. Thanks, everybody. My wife told me this morning that at least now he's free from the ravages of Parkinson's. In the 9 years I knew Dave, I could see it really taking him down, and it was very sad to see.

Arrangements are pending, and I'm not sure when we'll lay him to rest.
