108 Years Ago Today

The Tunguska Event occurred.

And scientists' still aren't sure what caused it.

I tend to think it was a comet or air-burst meteor rather than a spaceship from elsewhere, but, since nobody knows for sure, who's to say.....

  1. This is one of those Ockham's Razor events - more likely a comet air-burst than a meteor. But as you suggest, it's tough to be sure. The lack of tangible rocks (or debris from the space aliens) associated with the burst pushes me in that direction.
