Had to get my Jeep smogged last week, and while I was there, I spotted this 1941 Chevy Pick-Up truck in the lot.
REALLY sweet! The paint was the best I've seen in years, and EVERY nut and bolt was either chromed, or polished stainless.
The guys at the shop said it had a 350 in it with a Turbo-Hydramatic.
Admiral Yamamoto infamously said "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a man with a rifle behind every blade of grass."
And so it should be, a nation of riflemen....

Very nice indeed!
ReplyDeleteThat is one sweet ride. NICE.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was really nice. I haven't seen bodywork and paint that nice in years. The thing was just absolutely straight and shiny.
ReplyDeleteYou can see the reflection of the little chrome step on the running board in the door, and when you walked up to the truck, it was like looking into a red-tinted mirror.
Just beautiful!
The interior was also extremely well done. Very simple, just the instrument cluster in the middle of the dash, some nice bucket seats, and a floor shifter.
I LOVE it! Looks like vintage license plates from the '40s (yes, I remember them).
ReplyDeleteYowza!
