Hopefully nothing. Trump, in previous actions, has ordered the destruction and death of individual sites and individual people. And then stopped. Basically a very pointed "We did this, do you want us to continue?"
ReplyDeleteIsrael has removed enough senior leadership that Iran, which has been trending towards Christianity for the last 10 years, is really ripe for a revolution.
And, unlike Obama and Biden, Trump and Israel will quietly support internal revolts against the weird beards.
People, sadly led astray by the eneMedia, forget that Iran's been at war with the US the moment the Shah was deposed. They've seized our assets, attacked our ships and people, funded terrorists and proxies that attacked our ships and people. The low-level conflict has killed more US citizens and soldiers than directly died (not from accidents, but by direct action like shootings or bombings) than the Cold War with the Soviet Union, where, sadly, we had a lot of accidental deaths related to the Cold War, planes malfunctioning, ships sinking, training accidents, things like that.
Oh, I know a bit about Iran, having lived there for six months or so. I left about a month before the Shah left, so "nick of time" for me. I agree 100% with your evaluation. Besides, they don't have much hardware left, but they do have people "in the field", and that worries me a bit.....

DeleteAs I commented over at LSP, I've no doubt PDJT is sincere in his remarks. I have doubts the military/intelligence mob can recognize the unfiltered truth, and convey it to him. I also devoutly hope I am wrong and merely cynical.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think they'd get hit this quickly. If there was enriched Uranium there, and the bombing flattened the place, I'm pretty sure it would be detectable. If the Uranium had been moved, stand by for dirty bombs....
DeleteYep...Iran WILL do something. That is the question. They may possible even have some canned sunshine now...even though we hit the enrichment sites it's possible they already have enough for a warhead or three....time will tell. At the least they will likely "activate" some of their terrorist cells here and in other places. Stay strapped and don't play in crowds.
ReplyDeleteOr some of their cells may take action on their own. Yep, be ready, be alert, and stay away from large gatherings!
