Don't know why, but I've always associated this song with Halloween. Maybe it's because I was in high-school, growing up fast, when all the things in the video were happening around me.
Spooky times, I guess.....
Admiral Yamamoto infamously said "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a man with a rifle behind every blade of grass."
And so it should be, a nation of riflemen....

I've never thought of this one in connection with Halloween, but I see your point.
ReplyDeleteThe album was released in November, and the cut-down single in December of 1967, so I don't know why I stick in the "Halloween" time period, either.
