This is the first time in recent memory that the passing of a musician has bummed me out. His music had that "something" to it that resonated with people across all backgrounds and walks of life.

I've heard him on several channels on Sirius. He had a giant fan base that crossed all genres of music.

And yeah, I held up red and blue lighters while the song played (I didn't have a white lighter ready-to-hand).
He was unique.
