DeleteI've seen many aircraft flying grid patterns, and some EC-135'a doing orbits up in Wyoming, but I've never seen anything like this here before.

DeleteCan't pin that to an acft, but it was all below 8000, so 3000 AGL. Still not a clue...sigh
DeleteWe seem to have a lot of aircraft doing mapping and other things, but the only time I've seen a deliberate pattern that spelled something out was on the flight of the last 747 off the assembly line.
