SOTU

We didn't watch it tonight because we were busy watching something else.

Cold, clear night, so we made a fire, had macaroni and cheese along with some lentil soup, and played with "Kinetic Sand" and one of my favorites, Play-Doh, seen here In Action! Yes, Pebbles was down in the den with us, just slightly out-of-frame to the right, always watching TLG, and in Condition Yellow. Woe betide somebody who makes a threatening move while she's On Duty. I'm sure she'd go full berserker mode to defend us.

Anyway, from what I've read, "Madame" Speaker displayed some interesting behavior that would have gotten her dragged out back and disappeared in a lot of places. I'm sure I'll get to see replays, but for Real Time viewing, this was far more important.

    1. And innocence. Couldn't see subjecting him to it, so we had PAW Patrol on instead.

  2. SOTU was, as expected, Trump fighting like it's the first round. And the Dems definitely looked all "No Mas, No Mas!"

The all-white (clothes) female protestor brigade was back in force, showing their lack of diversity. Dunno what they were thinking about that but it didn't look well.

Trump was swinging for the bleachers, and he was hitting every pitch.

And what he did for Rush Limbaugh was wonderful.

I've watched every SOTU of Trump's presidency and he gets better and better.

    Not tired of winning yet.

As to why you didn't watch.. LL said it all. D'awwwwwww.

  4. I watched the first 20 minutes or so, had to turn it off as I tired of watching the Dems sit on their hands during the 112 standing O's as The Donald recited success after success after success for the American people. I still am amazed at how many people vote for these Dem haters who can't stand that America is doing well.

  5. Since I don't have a TV (by choice) and was using the computer for other tasks, couldn't watch it. Nothing to see but bad theater, IMO.

I've said many times I don't care for President Trump on a personal level but appreciate and applaud the job he is doing.

  6. He can be a pompous buffoon at times, but he's doing the job that We The People hired him for.

And he's doing it beyond my expectations.

And as all of you know, sometimes the Big Things in the world will get put on hold so we can take care of the Little Things.....

I wound up watching the whole thing at two in the morning after I got home from work anyway.

    1. I probably would have used my TV as a target if I'd seen Nazi Pelosi tear up the President's speech....

At 1700 local it's as described in the headline; 30*F, 88% RH, completely overcast, snowing like crazy (small flakes, but lots of them)...
