Toyota Leaving California For Texas

Toyota's been in Torrance for 57 years, and now they've pulled the plug for all the Usual Reasons.

  5. They've got a timeline of when they're moving, and won't be completely gone for a couple of years.

    The bad thing is that we have a meeting place there at the Toyota Museum for one of my Amateur radio groups, and we'll have to find a new place.

    It's a really neat place, and even has a 2000 GT, Toyota's ground breaking 'sportscar.
