Verteran's Day

 

 I can't say Thank You enough, and although I didn't serve, I admire and honor all who did.


Thank you all for your service, sacrifice, and patriotism.

    Thank you for remembering us. I'd love to go back & do it all again (well, maybe a bit less hostile incoming), but I'd settle for a reunion with my shipmates once the Covid crap gets past.

      I owe it to all veterans to remember. My Dad used to sell the VFW poppies, and we always honored Veteran's Day.

      Those also serve who watch and wait.
      I might not have enlisted had the draft or the economy not nudged me.
      I'm glad they did though.

      I take some comfort in that a large part of my career was "In The Rear With The Gear" as a civvie contractor. So while I didn't serve, I helped provide a lot of the systems that Our Guys used.
