    I liked him, and thought they were a good band. If they are dying off, that's bad news for folks our age.

    Not much respect, even though they outsold both the Beatles and The Rolling Stones in '67, combined.

      Yep. They started out as a "prop" for the TV show, and then had to fight with Don Kirshner to get control of 'their' band.

      They did some excellent music, but got "Rodney Dangerfielded".
