According to this article over at CNET, Fox has signed up for another 10 episodes.
And that reminds me....I still haven't watched the six episodes I recorded the last time it "came back"....
Something to do this weekend while the wife is visiting her friend.
Admiral Yamamoto infamously said "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a man with a rifle behind every blade of grass."
And so it should be, a nation of riflemen....

Couldn't determine which aircraft flew this, but it caught my eye...

Thinking about getting some more 22LR for my little Marlin semi-auto. I already have a good stock of 22LR, but they're all Wolf and Fio...
I enjoyed the X-Files and that window into what the FBI did for a living. I can only hope that the new episodes will provide a window into what the F that Director James Comey is up to.
ReplyDeleteHAH! Never occurred to me....
DeleteI was trying to come up with something pithy to say about the previous "revival", but am still laughing at LL's comment. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm still wiping up the coffee.....
DeleteIMO, the most fun episodes of the X-Files were the paranormal/UFO stuff; I didn't like the ones where they're chasing real criminals. Liver Fluke man was more fun than some psycho killer. The 6 episode "mini-series" was all fun, and since then we've been hoping to hear this news.
ReplyDeleteThey had both "Story Arcs", and "Monster of the Week" episodes. Some of the story arcs spanned years, like the "Black Oil"/"Alien Invasion" one.
DeleteAnd they had humorous episodes, like the one about the genie, or the Christmas episode with Ed Asner and Lily Tomlin.
Good writing, good direction, and it was one of my all-time favorite TV shows.
I saw that on Reuters. Good news. I always enjoyed the X Files, and I thought the six episodes last year were good.
