331??? Doesn't look like a 392 to me.
ReplyDeleteMost likely. The bore size is pretty small. I noticed that right away when they were boring it out, along with the fact that it's a "low deck" block.
ReplyDeleteSo if not a 331, then a 354, at most.
I think they were blueprinting it, maybe boring it .30 over... And agree the largest it could be is a 354.

Too bad for me, I have no mechanical skills. There are plenty of times when I wish I did.
ReplyDeleteLearned mine from my Dad, who was a Tool and Die Maker. He did woodworking to relax, but I was more interested in learning how to make things out of steel and aluminum.
