Supposed to start filming this summer, and will star David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, reprising their roles in a 6 episode miniseries.
This is probably my all-time favorite TV series. I didn't care too much for the two movies, as they were just not "connected enough" to the TV series for me.
It will be very interesting to follow this, and I can hardly wait for it to air.

ReplyDeleteIt was also one of my favorite shows, and I thought the Friday night shows were better than when it went to Sunday nights. I enjoyed all the alien stuff and the more far-out fantasy stuff, but I didn't think much of the psycho-killer type episodes.
ReplyDeleteRe: the movies not being as good as the show, I felt the same way about Torchwood. The episodes were generally pretty good (when the writers didn't cave in to Barrowman's insistence on more gay scenes) but the miniseasons, especially the last one that was practically a gay porn movie disguised as a scifi drama, killed it for good as far as I'm concerned.
