Admiral Yamamoto infamously said "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a man with a rifle behind every blade of grass."
And so it should be, a nation of riflemen....
331??? Doesn't look like a 392 to me.
Most likely. The bore size is pretty small. I noticed that right away when they were boring it out, along with the fact that it's a "low deck" block. So if not a 331, then a 354, at most.
I think they were blueprinting it, maybe boring it .30 over... And agree the largest it could be is a 354.
I'm just curious as to what they're going to put it in.
Wonder if they were setting it up to power a boat from the exhausts.
Most likely a street rod of some sort. The video was sponsored by Hagerty, the largest insurer of classic and collectible cars.
I wish they had started it.
So far, the only one they started was a flat head that they installed into an old truck. And people in the comments section are starting to ask them when are they going to do a video of these engines lighting off the first time!
Too bad for me, I have no mechanical skills. There are plenty of times when I wish I did.
Learned mine from my Dad, who was a Tool and Die Maker. He did woodworking to relax, but I was more interested in learning how to make things out of steel and aluminum.
Keep it civil, please....
