Quiet New Year's Eve....

Not much going on here. My wife went to visit a dear old friend from High School, so I'm just snuggled in here tonight with the dog, listening to the scanner, and seeing what mischief other people are getting into tonight.

Quiet night so far, but then it's only 1930 here, and I expect the "action" will pick up several hours from now.

Went to In-N-Out for dinner tonight, so I'm nice and full, and will be hitting the hay early tonight.

Happy New Year, everybody!

  1. I assume In-N-Out is a popular food franchise. But if your evening was as enjoyable as ours, then you did well.

    1. Yep, they're wildly popular. In the category of "License to Print Money".

They were established in 1948, are still run by the same family, and were the first drive-in/drive-through to use a squawk box to place your order from your car.

Outrageously good burgers, fries, and shakes. Nothing fancy, just 100% FRESH ingredients, prepared-to-order.

If you like good burgers, try one if you every get the chance.

Keep it civil, please....

Gloomy, Gritty, Grey Day

At 1700 local it's as described in the headline; 30*F, 88% RH, completely overcast, snowing like crazy (small flakes, but lots of them)...
