Maryland Governor Puts Tax On......RAIN?

Just is just how far down the path of tyranny we've come.

I suppose next they'll tax us on the CO2 we exhale!

Go here and read the whole thing.

Let me tell you how it will be
There's one for you, nineteen for me
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman

Should five per cent appear too small
Be thankful I don't take it all
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah I'm the taxman

If you drive a car, I'll tax the street,
If you try to sit, I'll tax your seat.
If you get too cold I'll tax the heat,
If you take a walk, I'll tax your feet.

Don't ask me what I want it for
If you don't want to pay some more
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman

Now my advice for those who die
Declare the pennies on your eyes
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman
And you're working for no one but me.

  1. These liberal/Progressive politicians apparently think they have free reign now to pursue their entire agendas. Fortunately, the pushback is beginning to build some momentum. But this one's beyond the pale.

  3. Yeah, I can see this really turning in to a mess.

Who will decide the square footage of your "impervious surfaces" is?

Is it only paved over areas? Does it include the roof?

And I'm sure they'll charge an extra "fee" to send incompetent people out to do the measuring....

  4. We already have that here. Stormwater fees to fund a fed mandate from the clean water act.

Keep it civil, please....

Gloomy, Gritty, Grey Day

At 1700 local it's as described in the headline; 30*F, 88% RH, completely overcast, snowing like crazy (small flakes, but lots of them)...
