Almost The Weekend.....

And we have some more rain coming.

The weather station finally started acting normal again after drying out for a few days.

The night time temps have been in the low 40's the last couple of nights, and in the high 50's/low 60's during the day.

I'll take the big tarp off the Supra Friday and drive her around a bit, then put the tarp back over her.

Working on a few radio projects, and doing another RF survey for the Iowa, this time in a format that's easier for "lay people" to understand.

That's all for now. Just don't have much to write.....

  1. You're lucky to have so many things to do. I'm about to drive into town to buy pet supplies, it's the highlight of my entire week.

    1. I made a solemn vow to myself that I'd keep busy after I retired.

I've seen too many guys who didn't have any "hobbies" just fade away and croak a year or two after they retired!

  2. You should have a license plate on your Supra: "My other car is the USS Iowa"

    1. Several of the people down there have either vanity plates with a Navy theme, stickers on their car, or a custom license plate frame.

I'm thinking of getting a frame for the Supra that says "My Other Car Is A Battleship"!

  3. I think LL's onto something, right there. My oldest keeps telling me her other car is the TARDIS. Only problem is, that now I want to use it...

    1. My 1973 Trans Am had a vanity plate that said "ZARKOV", my local hot rod nick name. My all black 1976 Trans Am had one that said "VADER".

My 1979 Fiat X1/9 had one that said "O2BA308".

All the "good" ones were taken out here in SoCal, but I'm looking into Colorado vanity plates for the Supra. Looks like there's some good ones not taken yet.

One of the celicasupra forum members has one that says "NOSUP4U"!

  4. Next year you will see what happens to your CA storms when they hit the Rockies. So happy my opposite number was driving the route yesterday.

    1. I've been watching the weather in Fort Collins for a couple of years now, especially the winters. The winters don't seem as "bad" as what I grew up with in Joliet, Illinois, and the summers are much more temperate than here in SoCal.
