Yup.....got The Busies the last few weeks. Lots of stuff happening this week, including my Nuclear Stress Test at the UCHealth Harmony Campus. I tend to ask a lot of questions about things, and considering I was a Components Engineer for the "Gamma Cameras" and "Radioisotope Immuno Assay" product lines for about nine months back in the late 1980's, I always surprise the staff doing the procedures.

The first time I had the nuclear stress test, the image that popped into my head was Jack Bauer from an episode of 24 disarming a bomb. It had the obligatory red LED clock counting backwards. Disarming an atomic bomb would definitely be a high stress event.
ReplyDeleteI was so disappointed when I found they weren't going to give me a pair of dikes and have me work under pressure to disarm the bomb.
