Really bugs me when people say "Happy Memorial Day". It's NOT "happy". It's very solemn; There's nothing "happy" about it.
To our fallen I say Thank You for your ultimate sacrifice, and may God hold and keep you close.

By making it a 3 day weekend Federal holiday we have to an extent cheapened it and diluted it's meaning. Same with other 3 day weeker holidays.
