And we've had exactly .01" of rain.....
It;s one thing to have very little precip, but with these high temps and high winds, it just sucks all the moisture right out of the ground. This is looking grim unless we start to get some rain.
And SLW's BFF has been on chemo for the last few days. Her Doctors have told her she'll be in the Hospital getting chemo until this "Last Course of Chemo" is done, and she'll be released to home.
To die.
No other way to put it, and it's weighing heavily on my SLW. Her first husband passed from Mesothelioma, and now she's going through it with her friend.
Prayers are greatly appreciated.....
Sometimes life just sucks. A couple Sisty and I have Sunday breakfast with most weeks are going through purgatory. His heart is acting up and he is having a serious eye problem. She started chemo this week. Breast cancer is back.
ReplyDeleteAs to the weather, grass fires are breaking out everywhere. The rural fire departments rarely have enough resources and the state is dysfunctional. We may be facing long term drought; think 1930's Dust Bowl drought.
SLW is such a good and caring person. (Looking for a bright spot to post)
Yeah, it sure does.
ReplyDeleteThe first Winter we moved here was pretty mild, but this Winter wasn't much of anything. Hoping for more of a normal weather pattern, but who knows.
Yes she is. I'm very fortunate to have her in my life.
Death is the inevitable outcome of life. Dealing with that inevitability is not always easy. But we all must find a way to do so.
ReplyDeletePrayers for all . . .
ReplyDelete86 was the high here in Wickenburg today. No precipitation and these conditions not looking good for fire season.
