.....Has arrived. Woke up to a temperature of NINE degrees with a light snow. Been kinda-sorta snowing today, but we don't expect more than an inch or two.
It's the temperatures that are going to be causing some problems here, and combined rain, snow, and icy conditions for a large swath of the Midwestern U.S.
So bundle up, keep warm, and just sit it out, unless you work outside, like my son does.

I hope you sail smoothly through the cold and/or any storms, and come out the other side ... smiling.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rev. Paul! It's our 8th Winter here, so we know how to cope. The lack of snow is bad, and with the low humidity here the fields get desiccated. And my Ariens De Luxe 24 is gathering dust.....
DeleteSitting it out and hoping/praying I don't lose any water pipes!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for 'yall buddy!
DeleteNote it is 4° on my balcony. Time for the Cabelas down jacket.
ReplyDeleteYep, 4* here, too.
ReplyDeleteOur chances of ice or snow are exactly zero to any number of decimal places. It might make it to 85 tomorrow. The cold front comes through on Monday morning and then the low is supposed to be 41 +/- 1 until Thursday. Below average, but nowhere near record temps.
ReplyDeleteWe've been cold this Winter, but hardly any snow, with the snowpack being at an all-time low for the year. It's 11* and snowing, with about 3" expected.
DeleteAnd tomorrow is forecast for 45*........bye-bye snow!
