Got Internet Now, and a Trailer to Unload

Spent about 20 minutes on the phone getting my Boost Mobile 4G/LTE WiFi Hotspot reactivated.

It's a far cry from the 150 MB FiOS we had in Long Beach, but at least I have some connectivity.

We have to completely unload the trailer to get the ammo cans out, as I can't store ammo at the storage place.

Then I'll take the big trailer back to U-Haul, which is located on the South side of Fort Collins. Monday I'll go back there and rent a small open trailer, load up the items that I'm allowed to store, and drag them over to the storage place.

  1. I've always stored what I damned well pleased but I'm a lifelong scofflaw.

  2. I'm in agreement, but there's a list of "forbidden" items, and if they see me loading all my ammo cans, they're likely to stroke out!

  3. Glad to see you've landed. And I'm with WSF regarding the storage, but if they're going to see you, then Plan B.

  4. What Old NFO said, glad you made it safely!

Now it's time for that whole, "can we find a house before the snows get too deep?" thing.

    1. Turns out it's a buyers market right now. Everybody who wanted to buy before winter and school starting has already done it, and the prices are dropping on homes.

  5. Good to hear you made it. Hope your son enjoyed the trip, and the Rockies. Change those license plates as soon as possible.
When we summered the cattle in Oregon territory... I put the Oregon plates on my pickup, when we were in Cali for the winter, I put the Cali plates on. Saved a lot of trouble. Can't do that these days, dammit!

    1. Except for some low fuel concerns and the major mess coming through Vail, it was pretty some sailing.

The rain didn't really start until Saturday afternoon, so we ducked that one.

Towing the empty trailer back today should be a snap.
