In addition, SSN's have a natural 1 up angle while surfaced and slow (or stop). T-hull's sit at a 0 bubble.

I should know, I retired after 21 years of fast boats and for the last 10 years I've worked at a shipyard working on the boats.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901205574058136834.post-24040789195141569212011-07-30T14:16:58.251-07:002011-07-30T14:16:58.251-07:00Yeah, right :-)Yeah, right :-)Old NFOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16404197287935017147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901205574058136834.post-53285105100641921182011-07-30T09:30:44.099-07:002011-07-30T09:30:44.099-07:00I bow to Old_NFO, a *real* Navy guy!I bow to Old_NFO, a *real* Navy guy!drjimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05647484115197408897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901205574058136834.post-87926174452417550702011-07-29T12:35:15.501-07:002011-07-29T12:35:15.501-07:00Virginia... :-)Virginia... :-)Old NFOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16404197287935017147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901205574058136834.post-63230869773234266502011-07-29T07:23:45.730-07:002011-07-29T07:23:45.730-07:00At first I thought it was a Trident or SSGN, but i...At first I thought it was a Trident or SSGN, but it doesn't have the turtleback for the missiles, and the sail is too far forward. It's too big for a 688/Los Angeles class, and the sail's too far forward for that, as well.

That narrows it down to Seawolf class or Virginia class...and again, based on the sail positioning (because the control center doesn't need to be directly below the sail for Virginia class), we in my office (admittedly, I used a collection of deductive reasoning) are putting our chips on Virginia class submarine.EMT Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17807734394843789086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901205574058136834.post-16720722490424027232011-07-28T08:43:05.931-07:002011-07-28T08:43:05.931-07:00looking aat the rudder, sail, length, freeboard, i...looking aat the rudder, sail, length, freeboard, it's a Trident class boatAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
