Admiral Yamamoto infamously said "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a man with a rifle behind every blade of grass."
And so it should be, a nation of riflemen....
1960 my buddy and I rode a homemade sled off the 90 meter jump at Steamboat Springs (late at night). We only went about 100'. No injuries, but the packed snow on the hill was disturbed. The town was in an uproar and we were, for a time, the most wanted people in Routt County. While we were dumb enough to do it, we were smart enough to keep our mouths shut.
Worst we did was "skitchin", riding along on the snowy streets on a trash can lid getting pulled by a car.
Nope. Not even when I was very young & crazystupid. Nope.Nope.
Agreed. I was never THAT young and stupid -at the same time-!
I think not. To me, that's a spectator sport (at best).
Yup. Causes a severe Pucker Factor increase just watching it.No thanks.....
A: Looks like the ski hill in Park City UT. built for the 2002 Olympics. B: It's morons like this that guarantee I will ALWAYS have a job (do xrays in ER's).
HAH! Very well put, Dan!
Go KTMs! That's one where you definitely don't want to overshoot the landing. Now let's see him go UP the jump.
Keep it civil, please....
