L.A. "South Bay" Tea Party!

I'll be there! This is the first time since College that I've gotten involved in anything political, other than being a good citizen and voting.
If you live in the area, come on out!

  1. If you don't mind post pics from if possible. I am going to the one in Atlanta, and plan to take many pictures and posting them.

  2. I won't be taking my 'real' camera, so cellphone snaps will have to do.

  3. Wish I could have made one, I was in Austin but had to leave and am now in Dallas and missed the one here... sigh... I DID mail my teabag though :-)

  4. It turned out really nice. No moonbats showed up to disturb or disrupt the proceedings, and I met some very nice people. At 1pm sharp they kicked it off by asking everyone to sing the National Anthem, and then they had several speakers. It was at Dockweiller State Beach, under the takeoff path of LAX, so the speakers had to stop occasionally because of airplane noise. The wind was blowing about 20kts, sand was blowing everywhere, the ocean was all riled up, and it was partly sunny, and about 55*.
Noticed several LAPD Beach Patrol units, but they never came within 200yds of the event.
My cellphone pix look kind of pitiful, so I'll have to see if I can clean them up some before I post them.

Keep it civil, please....

Gloomy, Gritty, Grey Day

At 1700 local it's as described in the headline; 30*F, 88% RH, completely overcast, snowing like crazy (small flakes, but lots of them)...
